> Good WiFi throughout the barn and cottage, with Netflix on all TVs and Disney+ on most
> There are 2 x 22KW Electric Vehicle charge points in the barn car park (small charge at cost payable on site)
> Full weeks only in the school holidays, otherwise there is a minimum two night stay. Our changeover days are Fridays (on occasion there may be flexibility off season)

“Had an amazing 3 night stay at willow’s rest with friends. It’s a superb barn & the décor is 5*, every room is decorated to a very high standard. Plenty of room for everyone & very comfortable. The beds are super comfortable, one of the best nights sleep we’ve all had! It’s was spotlessly clean, we can’t fault any of it. The swimming pool & hot tub are a bonus. Raymond was very friendly & nothing was too much trouble if we needed him. And the brownies were delicious, left by owners & a lovely welcome basket. “We recently returned from an Easter getaway at Willows Rest and had a truly fabulous time. The welcome hamper was very thoughtful and delicious. The property was luxurious, very spacious, well-equipped and extremely comfortable for our two families. The pool, hot tub, and play area proved to be an absolute winner for both adults and children regardless of the weather! The host, Raymond, was extremely helpful and responsive to our needs throughout our stay. Having on-site EV chargers proved very convenient and a real bonus. Overall, the stay at Willows Rest was wonderful and highly recommended. We can’t wait to revisit with family and friends!” April 2023
“We stayed at Willows Rest for a long weekend, 3 generations celebrating a milestone birthday, and had a wonderful time. The house is truly gorgeous and it was fantastic to find somewhere luxurious that catered for and welcomed children. All the amenities at the property meant we spent most of the weekend there, relaxing in the house, making use of the pool and hot tub and enjoying cooking and eating in the lovely kitchen area. The bedrooms are decorated beautifully and so comfy and cosy. The welcome pack on arrival was so well thought out with tasty, local produce. We'll be back for sure.” February 2023
“The main barn and adjoining cottage are absolutely stunning and beautifully furnished. The main kitchen and dining area in the barn are perfect for entertaining and is an ideal space for a large party or family. Especially when you include the lounge and the snug. The 'upside-down' living area certainly enhances the experience. Whilst the garden, play area, swimming pool and hot tub elevates the property to a whole new level of luxury! The large parking area and in particular the EV charging points are also an important feature for anybody travelling into the middle of South Devon with an electric car.” February 2023
“Just back from a fabulous weeks stay at Willows Rest. Expectations were high prior to the visit and the reality of the stay really did not disappoint - it was excellent…the property itself is just as the photographs show - very plush and comfortable with all you need for a big group to have a lovely stay. The kitchen is very well setup for cooking big meals and the giant table makes enjoying them all the better… the bedrooms are all nicely appointed with comfortable beds and nice linens. The pool and hot tub just add to the luxury and really made for a great family stay.” February 2023
“This place is really so lovely. It's hard to get a sense of the quality from the photos. For a start it's bigger than it looks, but it's the quality of things like bedding, towels, toiletries, curtains, glassware etc that's so lovely. It's exceptionally clean, and everything about it feels generous and so tastefully done. Gardens were immaculate. We were a family of adults and teenagers and everyone had such a great time. Pool and hot tub were fabulous, the layout of the living area meant everyone was accommodated really well. We went in autumn - the area is absolutely beautiful.” October 2022
“We had a fantastic time at Willow's Rest. We booked the barn with 2 families and we made some fantastic memories. The house is well equipped, very tastefully decorated and very comfortable . The house and gardens externally are also stunning. Though the house is very spacious , they have managed to create a very cosy feel. The pool, play area and hot tub are a massive bonus. The kids had a blast. The location is also beautiful with plenty to do in the surrounding areas for adults and children. I highly recommend Willow's Rest and would without doubt stay there again.” October 2022
“We're a family of 10 plus grandchild. We had a fabulous holiday - managed 3 beach days, a fishing day, Totnes trip as well as walking/running including from the house. The house is just what we were hoping for. Larger than expected, very well furnished, fantastic welcome basket, sumptuous beds, great outdoor space in the countryside with swimming pool/jacuzzi but close enough to the town. “What a wonderful week we have had at Willows Rest. This is the second time we have stayed - first being a long weekend in March 2020 but having a full week this time round was bliss. Great location with enough facilities to keep everyone entertained. The pool is perfect for both children and adults and the hot tub is very relaxing. There is nothing you need to think about as the owners have done that for you - every kitchen appliance you can think of and more. The beds were luxury, slept so well. The house itself was perfect for our family of children, teenagers and us grown-ups with the small cottage working well for Grandpa! Can't fault the place and we will be rebooking. “We had a great week at Willows Rest with our whole family. The house is well equipped, beautifully decorated, spacious and extremely comfortable. Our kids loved the pool, play area and feeding the animals! There was so much to keep them entertained at the house but additionally plenty to do in the local area. “This is an idyllic setting. Barn and location were perfect for us to have a chilled time away and because of it’s size catching up with family (mum’s 80th). The layout and garden areas never make you fill overcrowded. The owners are as helpful or as distant as you require, which is ideal. The owners directions got us to this isolated spot without issue. We as a family had such a brilliant time we are definitely returning. Although we were all adults, we could see aspects of the barn and outside areas set up nicely for children, with water toys and floats in the pool, places for stair gates and toy boxes in the pantry, so good for a child or two. Although my 20 something nieces did enjoy the floats and would have look through the toy boxes if found! Willows Rest was better than we expected and the quality of fixture and fittings make it feel you are somewhere special.” June 2022

If you choose the dates you are looking for on the calendar below, it will tell you pricing for those chosen dates. In 2023, pricing for a full week ranges from around £2,000 to a little under £5,500 for peak summer weeks. The cottage is an addition.

Please note, the cottage is only rented with the barn and guests have the option of taking just the barn, or the barn and the cottage. We do not rent just the cottage. When choosing your dates, the “barn” calendar is shown below, or scroll down further to the “barn and cottage” calendar. Both calendars will show the same availability, but please choose the appropriate one to get the right price.

Unfortunately we are not able to accept dogs and other pets at Willows Rest.
